Junilla Sledziewski is an experienced litigator with a background in commercial litigation and transactions, medical malpractice and insurance defense, construction defects, and small business representation.  She is licensed to practice in Florida and New Mexico.

Junilla is originally from New Mexico, and she attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on a scholarship where she earned high honors in her Criminology studies.  Junilla attended the University of Miami School of Law where she was a member of the University of Miami Law Review, a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and graduated magna cum laude.  She was also a member of the Children and Youth Law Clinic and represented foster children in dependency, drug, and criminal courts.

Junilla joined a highly sophisticated defense practice in downtown Miami after graduation from law school.  She worked with multi-million dollar corporations, small businesses, individuals, major medical centers and universities, physicians, general and sub-contractors, and insurance companies.  An effective negotiator both inside and outside the courtroom, she helped clients with a wide variety of legal problems, always focusing on obtaining results.

Junilla is committed to public service, and has handled a number of pro bono cases, including custody disputes, landlord and tenant issues, debtor defense, and immigrant asylum.

Junilla formed The JJS Law Firm, P.L. to provide quality legal services to small businesses and individuals.  She is committed to finding creative solutions for clients’ needs and achieving results through ethical, earnest, and fairly priced representation.
